NIC Chile is a sponsor of the conference and is also supporting the development of the Second Meeting of Women in Computing (WSCCC'2012).
Every year since 1993, academia and industry in computer science meet to share experiences, develop joint projects and expand these disciplines, coordinated by a host university. This year the event takes place between 12 and 16 November at the Catholic University of Valparaiso, through its School of Engineering.
Under the umbrella of the Computing Week several meetings are held, bringing together communities and specific research groups, such as Thesis Students, the Chilean Congress on Higher Education in Computing (CCESC 2012) and the Fourth International Workshop on Advanced Software Engineering (IWASE 2012), among others, with the participation of renowned national and international experts from the most diverse areas of computing. NIC Chile also sponsored the ACM Programming National Championship 2012, also part of the activities of the Computing Week.
In this edition, researcher Carolina Sandoval from "NIC Chile Research Labs" will present her work at the Chilean Workshop on User Experience with Information Technology (UXwIT 2012).
